Better Lifestyle Challenge

Hello reader and welcome to my blog! It’s officially summer here and school is out, but that doesn’t mean we are going out and about. Life is pretty mundane where I am. I’m taking walks, and go to my parents once a week. I haven’t visited my in-laws in 3 weeks and I haven’t seen my grandparents in more than a month.

My chronic pain is well, chronic. Back pain, stiffness, headaches, heaviness, bloating. I have been doing an effort to reach out sometimes. I visited a dear friend and my mentor yesterday. It was an amazing visit. I draw on their positive energy to keep me going. A pleasant reminder that God is good, and that everything that comes to us from God is good, even sickness and pain. I aspire to be like them.

I did this 21-day better lifestyle challenge, but I only did half the things on the list. Nevertheless, I will share the list with you. Maybe you can be better than me and do the things that you know will make your life better, instead of not doing it than complaining about it as I do.

Better lifestyle challenge:

Day 1

Today, wake up early ( try to see the sunrise you will feel refreshed and joyful).

Day 2

Start Reading (read at least two pages of any inspirational book daily which inspires you encourages you).

Day 3

Just SMILE, smile at mirror seeing you, smile to your family, to friends, to strangers.

Day 4

RELAX, don’t hold on to things. Do nothing. Make time for yourself.

Day 5

Prepare some delicious meal you love.

Day 6

Compliment Yourself.

Day 7

Eat Healthy Food – Add some more green veggies and proteins to your meal.

Day 8

Spend some time outside.
(Watch sunset, birds, and nature).

Day 9

Compliment others. It spreads smiles and positive vibes.

Day 10

Do some workout, light exercise, or yoga.

Day 11

Start writing – Write down 3 things you did great today before going to sleep.

Day 12

Try something new – try new activities which were different from your daily routine work.

Day 13

Journaling. Write down your happiest memories.

Day 14

Sleep early (1 hour before you usually go to bed).

Day 15

Show some kindness to every person you meet today.

Day 16

Drink water, eat more veggies and avoid junk food.

Day 17

Declutter – Organize your things so you don’t have to waste time while finding something.

Day 18

Surround yourself with positivity – start meditation.

Day 19

Start Saving ( this fund will generally help you in a very good way).

Day 20

Explore things you like and want to do.

Day 21

Live in the moment. Enjoy every moment of your life to the fullest.
